When asked what his greatest achievements are since starting with PASC he says "I think the growth of the club and this year especially, the team has moved up in the place standings of all the meets, a large portion of swimmers are placing in the top 6 at every meet". If he isn't at the pool coaching he can be found volunteering at his youngest son's school. He is also an active church volunteer. He and his wife Jan lead the teen youth group for Queen of Angeles for 4 years. Coach Pete uses his 36 years of experience, love of kids, and easy going manner to coach on and off the deck. He inspires and mentors swimmers and parents with his enthusiasm for both small and large accomplishments. |
